IIM Kolkata brings back MIT to Bengal

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the global centre for excellence and learning, is tip-toeing its way into Buddhas Bengal.

In a move that might reshape the states identity as a global knowledge powerhouse, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) is all set to forge an alliance with MIT in areas of research, training and teaching. The city-based centre of excellence is slated to sign a collaboration deal with MIT Sloan School of Management, the creator of IIMC in 1961.
